It is possible for us to look into the world from a variety of angles and points of view or with or without a certain presumption. But one thing that we know confidently is that there is no way to claim we perceive the world exactly the same as another person standing next to us, looking at it from the very same angle and point of view with the same set of presumptions and attitudes.
This diverse attitude towards the world and the way we perceive it -if we put them together as pieces of a puzzle- might lead us to a holographic image of what the world should look like in its entirety.
We called this exhibition “profile” to emphasize the fact that a society is like any other part of this universe; a whole made of so many particles that can be construed differently every time we look at it, from a new angle. Since a society is something dynamic, we will see it as something new that needs to be documented through the mind and the artistic skill of an artist.
