The central theme of the collection, “The Age of Wondering”, is individual feminine questioning against identity crisis in the contemporary world. Women in the middle of the pictures of this collection protest by their silence. In fact, they call their audience to ponder and question.

They also refer to the ancient history of female icons and common ideas about women in the position of idols, goddesses and cliché models which is looked at from males’ perspective. Therefore, some of the works of this collection refer to well-known examples of art history to present female icons so that they will be proposed along an ancient and frequent historical story. In their background, these women refer to the world surrounding them and ideas governing them to express their identity and gender challenges in an ironical language.
“The Age of Wondering” is not a statement of feminist challenge, but a call of reflection about us and thinking about our identity and the world that forms it.
